Only one tile type can be selected per game, however players are able to collect as many tile types as they want. Each tile type can even be toggled on/off and changed while a match is underway.
Basic tiles
Each of the game’s basic tiles require 100 paint drops to unlock, with the exception of classic default which is available from the start of the game. Players can earn paint drops through the completion of daily, weekly, monthly and other challenges.

Rewards pass tiles
Tiles can be awarded for participation in rewards pass events that require players to complete daily and weekly goals. Upon each goal completed, players can earn a variety of different rewards including coins, tiles, powerups, frames and stickers.
Premium tiles
For those looking to play with a rarer set of tiles, players can purchase premium tiles as in-app purchases for a limited amount of time. However, premium tile types are often provided as part of a bundle alongside other special items.
